Twinning agreement with the New Zealand Lace Society

The Lace Society has an agreement with the New Zealand Lace Society. The Society, founded in 1982, aims to promote the craft of lacemaking in all its forms as well as encouraging and promoting good craftsmanship and design. This is very much akin to our own aims.

The benefits to each society are to publish occasional articles and patterns in each other’s newsletters and to enable visiting members to attend the other society events via a temporary membership (no voting rights) for a period of no longer that one year.
We enjoy our newsletter exchange and are awaiting details of members’ visits. If any of our members are planning a visit to New Zealand, please contact the secretary Tania Waghorn, New Zealand Lace Society, PO Box 29554, Christchurch 8540, New Zealand or email through the website  Even if you are not planning a visit do go and view their website; we are sure you will find something to interest you.
